1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide to us

Account Information:
Email address, display name, username, and profile information. Google sign-in also provides name, email, and profile picture from Google.
Collection Data:
Bottle details, ratings, tasting notes, images you upload, and collection organization.
Profile Information:
Username, bio, photos, location, and social links that you choose to share.
Social Features:
Follows, activity feed, and interactions with other users.
Photos and Images:
Camera scans and library photos that you select, used to identify bottles and store your collection.
Biometric Data:
Face ID or Touch ID stays on your device. We do not store biometric data on our servers.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Usage Data:
Pages, features, search queries, and time in the app.
Device Information:
Device type, OS version, browser type (web), device identifiers, and app version.
Log Data:
IP address, access times, error logs, and performance metrics.
Camera and Photo Library Access:
We access the camera and photo library only when you grant permission, and only for images you capture or select.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use this information to provide the service, manage your account, enable social features, identify bottles, send account notices, protect the platform, improve the product, and meet legal duties.

We do not use your data for third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or sale to third parties.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share it in these cases:

Public Profile:
Display name, username, picture, bio, and public profile fields that you make visible.
Activity Feed:
Bottle activity may appear to people who follow you.
Service Providers:
Google Firebase for authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, and hosting.
Legal Requirements:
When the law requires it, or to protect rights and safety.
Business Transfers:
If the service is sold or merged, data moves with the same protections.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored with Google Firebase. Centers may sit in the United States and other countries. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete the account, we delete or anonymize personal information within 30 days, except where law requires a longer hold. Backups may remain up to 90 days.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You can view, correct, and delete your data in the app. You can request an export at support@instadram.me. We respond within 30 days. You can control camera and photo access in device settings.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to keep you signed in, hold session state, and measure use in aggregate. We do not use cookies for third-party ads or cross-site tracking.

7. Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase and optional Google Sign-In. Those services have their own policies. We use them for authentication and storage, not for advertising.

8. Children and Age

The service is not for children under 13. Because the content is about alcohol, you must be at least 21, or the legal drinking age in your place. By creating an account, you state that you meet this age rule.

9. International Transfers and Regional Rights

EEA, UK, and Swiss users have GDPR rights of access, correction, restriction, portability, objection, and complaint. California users have CCPA rights to know, delete, and equal service. We do not sell personal information. Contact support@instadram.me.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. We post the new text on this page and change the date. We may also email you for large changes.
